Non-government organizations (NGOs) pledged Wednesday one million votes for Liberal Party (LP) standard bearer Sen. Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III who they said can bring about change to the country.

Several NGOs in Caloocan City said that their solidarity is anchored on their collective perception and belief that only Noynoy can lead the country toward progress after suffering nearly a decade of "foul rule" and "oppression."

Tunay na Pagbabago is based on the immaculate leadership of Aquino's mother, former president Corazon Aquino, and the heroism of his father, the late senator, Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr., a statement said.

"The call for one million votes to boost Noynoy’s candidacy is to guarantee that the vision of the Aquino couple would come to pass," the NGOs said.

Throwing an all-out support for Noynoy’s bid include the August Twenty-One Movement (ATOM); April 6th Liberation Movement (A6LM); (Cory) Aquino to MalacaƱang Movement (ATOMM); Islamic Party of the Philippines (IPP); Philippine Association of Small Coconut Farmers’ Organization (PASCFO); Federation of Farmers’ Associations of the Philippines (FFAP); Association of the Socioeconomic Advancement of Pinoys, Inc. (ASAP); Blue Falcons International Association, Inc.; Falcons Consolidated Groups of Martial Arts; FDFI International Integrated Group; Samahang Bisaya; Philippine Development Foundation and Watawat.
