A MESSAGE FROM ELLENE SANA, Center for Migrant Advocacy

Hi All,

The month-long overseas absentee voting for Filipino overseas voters starts tomorrow April 10 at 8am (local time). It ends on May 10, 6pm Manila time.

Be part of the movement for change. Let's claim our future. Please go out and vote wisely for your president, vice president, 12 senators and ONE party-list organization.

By this time, voters in countries and other destinations of Filipinos abroad who will do postal voting (like the US, Canada, UK, Japan, and several others in Africa, Europe, Asia, Oceania) should have received their mail packets containing their ballots and other election paraphernalia. Please do not forget to fill out your ballots and submit them back to the embassy/consulate on or before May 10. Please do not forget your signature too on the ballot envelopes.

Filipinos in the Gulf and other countries in the Middle East, in some countries in Asia and Europe, will do personal voting. Hongkong and Singapore will follow the automated election system.

Please contact the Philippine embassy or consulate to verify your name in the voters list. You may also email us for any additional queries.

Finally, the OAV flyers and posters that CMA (Center for Migrant Advocacy) and FES (Friedrich Ebert Stiftung) produced are now available at all Philippine embassies, consulates and POLOs (Philippine Overseas Labor Offices). Please contact them and help them distribute the elections information materials to your fellow overseas voters.

Please pass on the information to your overseas friends, families and relatives.

Salamat po.

Ellene
