MANILA, Philippines--Pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao said that he will file his candidacy for a congressional seat in Sarangani on December 1.Pacquiao was mobbed at the Commission on Elections when he arrived to file the partylist, Pwersa ng mga Bayaning Atleta (PBA), which he chaired.
"Itong PBA na create namin dahil ito'y makakatulong sa ating mga atleta na kelangan ng suporta," he said.
"Malaking bagay si Manny para sa amin," said Chris Bulado, basketball player from Barangay Ginebra.
Pacquiao said that through the PBA, he is hoping the athletes would be given enough attention in Congress
